Want to run Internet Explorer with Linux?

All you Windows and IE haters are probably asking why you would want to do such a thing...  Well unfortunantly there are many websites that have been designed to only work with Internet Explorer.  Employer timecard applications, the Real Estate Information Network / MLS, even some Citibank web pages.

Here is the quick and easy way to do it.

Install wine and cabextractor using your package manager:
yum install wine cabextractor

Download the IEs4Linux script:
wget http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/downloads/ies4linux-2.0.5.tar.gz.tar.gz

Extract:
tar zxvf ies4linux-2.0.5.tar.gz

Run the script:
cd ies4linux-2.0.5.tar.gz
./ies4linux

Follow the script... When done just type ie6 at a terminal and pretend your running windows for a bit.
